Join the team coaching Bryan-College Station since 2003.
We're always looking for great coaches and people who want to become one. If coaching is your craft — not just your job — we'd love to talk.
Apply NowWhy Coach Here
BCS Fitness has been coaching adults in Bryan-College Station since 2003. We run two studios — South Studio in College Station and Central Studio in Bryan — and specialize in small group personal training for busy adults 40+ who want to look, move, and feel better.
We built this place because we believe coaching matters more than the program, the equipment, or the marketing. Our model reflects that — small client groups, customized programming, real coaching relationships, and a team that stays.
Real Coaching Environment
Maximum five clients per coach per session. No oversized classes, no rushed transitions. You get to actually coach.
A Career, Not a Side Gig
Most of our coaches have been with us for years. We invest in coaches who invest in their craft — through mentorship, continuing education, and clear paths to growth.
Clients Who Stay
Our average client tenure is 32 months. You'll build real relationships with people over years, not transactions over weeks.
Two Established Studios
South Studio in College Station and Central Studio in Bryan. Both fully equipped, both built specifically for our 30-minute small group personal training model.
Competitive Compensation
We pay coaches well and structure compensation to reward professional development, leadership skills, and quality of coaching.
Coach-First Culture
We've built a team that supports each other, learns from each other, and genuinely enjoys coming to work. That's not a poster on the wall — it's the actual standard.
Open Positions
We're always accepting applications from the right people. If your experience matches one of the roles below, we'd love to hear from you.
Certified Personal Trainer / Coach
We're looking for experienced personal trainers who want to do their best coaching in an environment built around real coaching — not class management.
What We're Looking For
- Current personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent)
- At least 1 year of professional coaching experience
- Strong working knowledge of strength training, movement assessment, and program design
- Genuine interest in coaching adults 40+ (this is our specialty)
- Reliable, coachable, and committed to long-term work
- Comfortable working with clients managing chronic conditions, old injuries, or coming back to fitness
What You'll Do
- Coach small group personal training sessions (max 1:5 ratio)
- Build customized programs for each client based on their movement screen, goals, and history
- Develop long-term coaching relationships with adults 40+ in our community
- Continue developing your craft alongside an experienced team
Pre-Physical Therapy Internship
Pre-PT student looking for real, hands-on experience before applying to physical therapy school? This internship is built for sophomores through seniors who are serious about PT as a career and want exposure that goes beyond shadowing — working directly with real clients, learning movement screening, and building the foundational coaching skills that make you a stronger PT school applicant and a better future clinician.
What We're Looking For
- Current sophomore, junior, or senior pursuing a degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health & Human Performance, or related pre-PT track
- Plans to apply to Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs
- Strong academic standing and genuine commitment to PT as a career
- Personal training certification or actively working toward one (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA)
- Coachable, professional, and willing to put in the time to develop real skill
- Available for consistent hours during the semester, including some early mornings and evenings
- Comfortable working closely with adults 40+, including clients managing chronic conditions and old injuries
What You'll Gain
- Hands-on hours working with a population that mirrors what you'll see in PT clinics
- Direct mentorship from experienced coaches in movement screening, assessment, and program design
- Exposure to working around chronic conditions, post-rehab clients, and joint limitations
- Documented internship experience that strengthens your DPT school application
- Real coaching reps you can't get from a classroom or a shadowing role
- Letters of recommendation for strong-performing interns
- The opportunity to develop skills that will make you a more confident, capable clinician on day one of PT school
Who Won't Be Happy Here
We've learned since 2003 that not every great trainer thrives in our environment, and that's okay. To save everyone time, here's who probably isn't a fit:
- Coaches who prefer leading large group classes over individualized coaching
- Trainers who view this as a short-term side hustle
- Anyone uncomfortable working closely with the 40+ demographic
- People looking primarily for flexible independent-contractor work with no commitment
- Coaches who prioritize intensity and "smashing" clients over real progress
If any of that describes you, we're not the right fit — and there are great places in town that are.
How to Apply
We keep our application process simple but intentional. We're more interested in who you are and how you think than how polished your résumé looks.
Send the following to info@bcsfitness.com
- Your résumé or a summary of your relevant experience.
- A cover letter telling us why you want to work at BCS Fitness specifically, what kind of environment you do your best work in, and where you see yourself in 3–5 years.
- Any certifications you currently hold (or are working toward).
- The position you're interested in — Coach or Pre-Physical Therapy Intern.
We read every application personally. If your application looks like a fit, we'll reach out to set up a conversation — typically a phone call first, then an in-person interview at one of our studios.
